Whats the story
There’s something striking about looking at the world through a bin. The frame it creates—often unnoticed—tells a story of habits, responsibilities, and the small choices we make every day. Caught in the foreground, is the waste and neglect, of discarded multi coloured dog poo bags — rather than the carelessly thrown ones by idiots, often left hanging on a tree, or places behind a tree or worse tossed onto the hedge rows for the fairys to find, as they are the only people who can see the “vivid coloured” bags abandoned on your walks.
The truth is, waste tells its own story. Every discarded poo bag speaks of a choice. Every pile of litter or poo bag left behind, is a message—not just about the person who left it but about how we, as a community, respect our shared spaces. The bin isn’t just a receptacle; it’s a symbol of responsibility.
People go out of their way to take their beloved pets to the countryside to enjoy the clean air and the views. They then take an organic biodegradable product- seal in a brightly colored non-biodegradable bag and hang it from a tree or discard them in the hedge bottom!!! What is the difference between this and someone driving up and dumping their fridge or old bed or sofa in the countryside? What they don’t consider and clearly don’t care about is it will take at least 100 years for the bag to disintegrate, by which time our children will not have a countryside but a contaminated sprawling sea of waste and no future.
For those who can’t seem to grasp the concept of proper disposal, perhaps a trip straight to the landfill with their dog would be a more fitting adventure—poo heaven awaits, and they likely wouldn’t notice the difference in smells or views.
